Seeing Smoke starts production

Seeing Smoke, the new film from Pensive Penguin Productions, entered principal photography today. Harry Bove is an unprepossessing chap who goes out of his way to help people, until the day he’s falsely accused of molesting a child.

Directed by Glen Mortimer, Seeing Smoke is being shot  by Paul Anderton on the Sony V1E. “It’s a nice little camera,” says Paul. “It’s the successor to the Z1, and a cut-down version of a Z7. It has plenty of great features, invaluable for low-budget filmmaking of this kind. It’ll be interesting to see how it stands up to the punishment.”

Seeing Smoke is slated for release in 2009.
