Transmogrification

Change is a funny thing. Plus ça change, plus c’est la même chose. A change is as good as a rest. Spare some change for a cup of tea, mate?

Change overtakes me once again, and I find myself moving house, building a new website, printing business cards, and hunting for a job. Inevitably, however, things are less different than I expected; same girlfriend, same feature film, same shoe size.
I’m currently working on a feature film (Seeing Smoke), and hopefully one welcome change will be that the office location can be wrapped. This is a first-floor office, with 16 windows at street-light level, and it can only be shot at night. Cue 39 cardboard boxes painted white, several rolls of extra-wide sticky tape, and one head of hair (to be torn out).

Ah, well. Mustn’t grumble.
